My stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort was quite nice. The separate bedroom was great for family privacy, and having a full-size fridge allowed us to prepare meals, which helped save some money (a big plus!). However, the hot water situation was disappointing, as it barely accommodated two showers. While I enjoyed the rustic atmosphere and the outdoor space, the distance from attractions makes it less ideal for someone wanting quick access to the magic of Disney.

The cabin was spacious and comfortable with separate sleeping areas, perfect for families.

Housekeeping was limited to every other day, and getting extra towels was challenging despite being told it was easy.

The resort felt far from the parks, and the golf cart rental was essential for getting around easily.

Having a full kitchen really helped with breakfast and snacks, but I wished there were more dining options nearby.

My stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness was a mix of fun and frustration. The cabin itself had a cozy vibe, but I found it a bit cramped for our family of five. While we enjoyed the outdoor grill and clean environment, the outdated facilities and some service issues left me wanting more from the experience.

Rooms
6.0
The cabin felt outdated and cramped, especially with a queen bed and bunk beds squeezed into a small space. With three kids, it was tough to move around, and sharing the single bathroom with everyone made it even trickier.
Service
5.0
I had a frustrating experience with the staff regarding guest access. Although one security guard was friendly, the manager's lack of empathy when we tried to drop off our son was disheartening and really took away from the magic of Disney.
Location
6.0
The resort is well-located with easy access to the parks, but getting around can be a bit of a hassle. I found it inconvenient that there was little parking near the pools or restaurants, requiring lengthy walks or extra fees for golf carts.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were limited, making it difficult for us after a long day at the parks. We struggled to find a quick bite without needing to walk half a mile after a tiring day.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area was nice, but I wished there was more supervision for the kids on the slide. Plus, I found it annoying that there was no proper parking near the amenities, creating accessibility issues.

My stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort had its highs and lows. I appreciated the spacious cabin layout and the peaceful environment after hectic park visits, but I was disappointed by some aspects of service and cleanliness. Overall, it's a nice option for a family getaway, but there are areas needing improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The cabin layout accommodated my family well, providing the privacy we desired. However, I found the pullout sofa uncomfortable and noticed cleanliness issues, like dirty floors on check-in day.
Service
5.0
Service was inconsistent; some requests, like towels, went ignored. Additionally, the bus service was unreliable, which caused me to miss a fastpass. My experience at the pool entertainment left me particularly frustrated.
Location
5.0
The location was convenient with bus stops nearby, but transportation could be slow, and the boat ride to Magic Kingdom often took much longer than advertised.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were a letdown; I found the buffet food unappetizing. While having a kitchen in the cabin was helpful, the overall food quality didn’t meet expectations.
Facilities
6.0
The pools were well-maintained and offered a nice retreat, although I had issues with towel availability. Other facilities, like bicycle rentals and laundry, were decent but could use better management.

The resort has a nice sense of community, and I loved the peaceful mornings walking around the grounds. However, the distance to the Trading Posts was a bit inconvenient without a golf cart.

I found the food options to be varied and enjoyable, adding to the overall experience of the resort.

While there were plenty of activities available, I did notice the pools seemed underwhelming compared to other Disney resorts.

My stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort offered a unique experience surrounded by nature, yet there were some significant drawbacks. The cabin's layout was nice and cozy, but the new couch was incredibly uncomfortable, affecting our sleep. Additionally, the hot water supply was lacking, which made showering a challenge. All in all, while the resort has its charms, the issues we encountered left me uncertain about returning.

Rooms
6.0
The cabin was charming, with a separate bedroom for adults and space for kids. However, the new couch was very uncomfortable for sleeping.
Service
7.0
Service was not too bad, though receiving extra towels was a hassle during our stay due to some miscommunication.
Location
7.0
The natural setting of the resort is beautiful, but the distance between various amenities and pools made it less convenient without a golf cart.
Dining
6.0
Having a full-sized fridge was super helpful for meals, but dining options seemed limited and pricey for the overall experience.
Facilities
7.0
The resort offers multiple activities, but the bus system was confusing and could benefit from clearer signage.
